  • This time there's this strong bitter aftertaste which was very unpleasant

  • The despicable stunned with the banana ice cream

  • Despicable is not to be missed

  • Pink guava sorbet was strong and smooth

  • Had blue milk which is the classic and this new flavour called Soleil under the premium

  • The Soleil is a mix of coconut

  • Taste weird for me but I guess is a good try

  • I feel that the waffle is kind of doughy and not as good as previously

  • I loved how crispy and airy it was with a sweet fragrance

  • Could barely taste any hint of nuttiness and it was rather sweet though the texture was smooth and creamy

  • Honey ice cream with crunchy cocoa nibs had a light flavour profile and quite one dimensional

  • A slight saltiness would probably combine well with the mellow sweetness

  • Signature Apiary flavour is a must try

  • Apiary (honey based with cocoa nibs

  • blue milk (very milky with a hint of saltiness)

  • One of the flavours is premiume + $0.50

  • I guess we were expected it to have more depth

  • Their rum and raisin was so flavourful

  • Couldn't resist getting a double scoop even though we were stuffed from lunch

  • The ice cream melted soooo fast and was already dripping by the time we crossed the road

  • I did feel that the flavours here are fairly muted for our taste

  • The waffle was really good

  • Got the double scoop waffles with earl grey and some secret tea blend special

  • This latest flavour is a harmonious blend of uplifting Bergamot & Jasmine Green Tea sorbet 🍵 with Roasted Pineapple🍍

  • Apiary tasted like chrysanthemum with cocoa nibs

  • Nothing too special and was a little on the sweet side

  • Rum & Raisin was quite good

  • Heard the mint flavour was good but it wasn't available when I went

  • The hazelnut flavour was also there

  • We got a waffle with a scoop of strawberry ice cream and another scoop of pistachio ice cream

  • Both scoops were really great the pistachio ice cream was more nutty and not as sweet as that served in other ice cream restaurants

  • The ice cream flavours were definitely pretty gentle and were not overly concentrated

  • The waffle was crispy and it was also pretty thick

  • It can definitely be a little filling if you are visiting Apiary after dinner

  • Desserts at Apiary are on the more expensive side

  • Both flavours were premium so they cost an additional $0.50 each

  • Chosen Blue Milk out of curiosity (and cause the color is calming lol)

  • Blue Milk which is some milky goodness flavor and has some salty surprise in every bite

  • Actually paires really well with the Dark Choc I had salty

  • Great for those who enjoy something simple and not too sweet the distinct taste of the wildflower honey with its gentle floral notes complementing the milky

  • The bits of cacao nibs added some oomph too with the texture and bittersweetness

  • The flavour was fun and rich thanks to baked confection

  • The blue milk ice cream has a light milky flavour with a dash of saltiness with every spoonful

  • This was a very unique tasting ice cream that was both milky and slightly savoury (because of the salty element) at the same time

  • The apiary flavour comprised of honey ice cream with cocoa nibs

  • The sweetness from the honey ice cream was a bit stark at first

  • The texture of the ice cream here is done really well

  • The flavours I’ve tried were pretty decent

  • I’d definitely come back to try other flavours especially with the chill vibes and minimalist space they offer

  • The flavour is not overly sweet

  • Caramelized strawberry gives a fresh berry flavour with a hinge of honey like caramel

  • Wanted to try the charcoal waffle but only left with the original

  • The pistachio was as great as ever

  • As it was really nutty and the pistachio flavour was brought out really distinctly

  • Was a Christmas special made with eggs and milk

  • You probably shouldn't get this if you are not a fan of rum & raisin

  • The gingerbread crumbs were nice and they were generally sweet with a slight tint of pepper and other spices

  • We got lavendar and dark chocolate ice cream with waffles (~$14.50)

  • The ice cream was delicious but the waffles was soggy

  • The pistachio had a really nutty flavour to it and we liked that there was a roasted and slightly charred taste in the ice cream as well

  • The size of the scoop was pretty generous and we also loved that the ice cream didn't melt very quickly and this gave us the time to slowly savour the scoop

  • We felt that the waiting time for a table for 3 was a little long on a Thursday evening (around 25 minutes) and it will likely be even longer over the weekends

  • Dining in may not be an option if you are in a rush for time

  • The pistachio is a premium flavour so it costs $4.70 for a scoop and an additional $1 for the cone

  • Got their pistachio and lavender to go with the charcoal waffle

  • Both the waffle & ice cream flavour is so distinctive

  • You probably know where is this from before checking the tag

  • Their waffles were crispy and good

  • The waffle was really good too

  • The texture was great too smooth and almost sticky/chewy

  • Is a banana ice cream with brownies and walnuts

  • They were also rather generous with the walnuts which provided a good crunch element

  • It was decent as it was a little crisp outside and slightly chewy inside

  • I felt that the Blue Milk this time is too sweet and there was this powdery milky taste to it which lingers

  • The brownie flavour shined with the baileys coming through to give that tad of alcoholic sweet note

  • Their waffles is always good

  • Its fluffy with a good density and crisp at the sides

  • Quite powdery and was unfortunately forgettable

  • The yuzu lychee was refreshing and tasted authentic while the apiary flavor with honey through it (amongst other stuff) was creamy and rich without being too much a good mix of two flavors

  • The honey base of this ice cream was disrupted by subtle but present bittersweet cacao nibs — loved this 🥰

  • The flavor is rather mild

  • I've had two scoops of ice cream Apiary and Caramelised Strawberry and it was a great combi

  • The flavours here arent fanciful like some other places but they are of high quality

  • Always choosing the same flavour 😂 Would say their earl grey is pretty good

  • The flavour is quite strong and for someone who LOVES earl grey

  • 😍 However the price is on a steeper side

  • Gelato aside though I was quite disappointed with the brownie

  • What we got was a fairly tough (cross between biscuit and brownie kinda texture) and dry cake that wasn’t very pleasant at all

  • If you don’t have a good buddy armed with a car and willing to send you some ice cream goodness

  • Cozy little place with good ice cream

  • The charcoal waffles were light and fluffy (though it didn’t have much flavor on its own)

  • The ice cream was so smooth mindblowingly good

  • This cosy place is such a hidden gem with great food ☺️☺️☺️

  • Pistachio and waffle were not bad as well

  • Sicilian Pistachio (+$1) was really creamy and had a really full flavour that many ice cream parlors fail to achieve

  • Despicable (+$0.70) was more normal and nothing special

  • Honestly can’t go wrong with the ultimate combination of banana

  • Will be back to try their many many other flavours (sampled their Black Sesame which is really gao and good

  • I could tell it was going to take on this texture when I saw the service crew scooping out from the tub

  • I suppose that is a weird deduction to make

  • This lovely aesthetically appealing dessert consisted of a large round waffle topped with blue and yellow hued ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup and honey ($13.60)

  • They had nailed the brown butter flavor with that slight tinge of rich saltiness in the waffle's aftertaste

  • Despicable is banana flavored ice cream with brownie and walnut bits folded in

  • The ice cream retained its creamy texture but the bits of brownie resulted in pops of bittersweet chocolate flavor in my mouth and the walnuts contributed with their earthiness and their crunch

  • A lovely comfortable hole in the wall cafe with good waffles but mindblowingly delicious ice cream

  • The waffle ($5.50) was crispy and the apiary honey ice cream was light in flavour

  • The charcoal waffle ($6.50) was crispy though it didn’t have much flavour of its own

  • The green tea ice cream was thick and had a rich matcha flavour

  • The black sesame ice cream was nutty in flavour and very fragrant too

  • Green tea green tea used was from havela

  • Paired really well with the ice creams

  • This new flavour developed by owner Travis Goh and his team is something you need to try

  • It isn’t one dimensional nor too sweet definitely not with those tiny crunchy bits of almond and dark chocolate chip frolicking in the bright bed of zested orange ice cream

  • Even if you happen to be feeling very full after a meal (like I was when I walked into Apiary that night)

  • With unique ice cream flavours such as the savoury sweet blue milk made with blue pea flower

  • Craving for some ice cream after the shopping malls are closed and PB found this

  • Ice cream was so smooth Lavender taste was mild enough so that you wouldn’t be thrown off by the lavender but not tasteless

  • Ferrero rocher light such that it wouldn’t feel like you were gonna get a sore throat

  • Picked their black sesame and earl grey lavender today to pair with their baked waffles drizzled with brown sugar and honey at the side

  • The earl grey lavender served here was one of my top list too

  • Decided to get some unique scoops instead of the more common flavours like chocolate or black sesame which are available at more ice cream parlours

  • The waffles took a few minutes to prepare but they were gorgeously crisp on the outside

  • So when the staff said this was the last scoop we caved

  • Not sure if this is just made from Hvala matcha powder or whether it is the same ice cream served at Hvala

  • This will satisfy matcha lovers as the matcha flavour is very prominent

  • This flavour was replaced immediately after with houjicha

  • Turns out it’s a honey base with cacao nibs

  • Quite nice with the waffles and matcha ice cream to balance it out

  • It goes well with the waffles

  • The waffles at Apiary are also a different style so it’s not that fair to compare them

  • I’m also really impressed with how dark their charcoal waffles are

  • I might be back to try their black sesame flavour with the brioche bun though

  • The light blue colour of this scoop is also very pretty

  • The pistachio ice cream is one of the better pistachios out there the good pistachios have a nutty fragrance while there are others that leave you feeling ‘Ahh

  • ’ because the deep green colour you see isn’t quite commensurate with the flavour you expect

  • So this one at apiary is quite good

  • My favourites are the pistachio and rocher

  • As all their other flavours are really good too

  • Ordered the black sesame and caramelised strawberry strawberry ($7.2 for double scoop) to go with the waffle ($4.5) and they didn’t disappoint

  • So charcoal is the choice

  • Their ice cream are creamy and milky

  • Their Sicilian Pistachio is probably one of the best versions out there—intensely nutty

  • Their Blue Milk is usually a close second pick

  • I think you get the point—you can’t go wrong with the flavours here

  • I always end up with this (a good non artificial tasting strawberry ice cream is hard to come by

  • The flavour comes out best when paired with the buttery

  • Think melting salted butter atop a hot slice of toast with cold strawberry jam from the fridge

  • It’s a banana flavor generously studded with chunks of walnut

  • Smooth and creamy but i’m not sure how long this flavor is gonna be around as they regularly change flavors

  • Staff there were really helpful

  • Enjoyed my 2 scoops though the 70% Dark Chocolate is a tad bitter for me but it is as bitter as the name suggests

  • Fluffy inside and complemented well with the chocolate maple sauce

  • I came here on a quiet weekday afternoon to try their interesting ice cream flavours and was not disappointed

  • My favorite is definitely black sesame

  • It was pretty funny that the cone was sweeter than black sesame when I tried it another time

  • Other interesting flavors are uji matcha

  • Apiary ice cream is the smooth kind

  • They have very few flavors with nuts and crunch added

  • The 69% dark choc ice cream and bergamot sorbet were really good

  • The waffle was just alright

  • Especially with my sis and I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint

  • The waffles were crispy but soft

  • The Apiary ice cream was creamy and thick

  • One of the best ice creams I’ve had in Singapore

  • When paired with the richer pistachio

  • The ice cream is pricey but it is quite a big scoop (slightly bigger than average) & the cafe provides a nice chill atmosphere so the higher price can be justified

  • Apiary waffle and ice creams are a great way to close off a FriYAY night with friends

  • It just worked so well with the sweet crusty waffle below

  • The former being my usual option just because it would be something different with every visit

  • When I went there was the use of bee pollen which I'd assume are the yellow specks around the honey flavoured ice cream

  • The blue is all natural and there is this strong milky sweetness that I find extremely addictive

  • Launched just yesterday at Apiary is The Sesame Treat

  • A interesting tasting platter which involves a scoop of White Sesame Ice Cream (which is exclusively available to The Sesame Treat)

  • The dish also comes with a set of instructions on a card which recommends the best way to enjoy the tasting platter as well on the side

  • Japanese Sea Salt and then the Sesame Oil to enjoy the tasting platter with the various flavour combinations

  • The addition of Japanese Sea Salt helps to add a unami flavour to both scoops of ice cream which were nothing short of Apiary's smooth and creamy consistency for their ice creams

  • The addition of Sesame Oil was the most interesting for me — while it enhances the creaminess of the White Sesame Ice Cream

  • Blue milk) which are really quite novel

  • The usual flavours such as Thai Milk Tea and Pistachio are not bad too

  • Most of the others are quite mediocre like the waffles were ok and the charcoal ones were not distinctly different from the normal waffle
